Lead Guitarist Tim Enders has been playing guitar since the age of 9. Growing up with the sounds of classic blues artist in the household such as Albert King, BB, Nat King Cole, Buddy Guy and the likes...blues music has always been a foundation for him.
"As a young boy, my uncle always entertained me with his electric guitars and amplifiers. My grandfather who was an accomplished electronics designer was always repairing the amps for the various band members. I remember the huge amps with metalflake tuk and roll upholstery encasing the speaker boxes, drum kits set up in my grandparents living rooms and jam sessions going on for hours. This is where my profound interest in playing electric guitar began."
As a teenager, Tim began guitar lessons which focused on classic blues rock scales and progressions. Influenced by the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Robin Trower, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton and many others, his playing style began to take on a persona of its own. In and out of many local bands, Tim was performing at the age of 14 in front of his peer groups. Through his college years, he worked in clubs and supported himself through his music in and around Santa Rosa and Sonoma Counties.
Since moving to the NW, Tim has played with bands such as The High Rollers, The Enders Brothers Band and his own Careless Entry Band.
"I am excited to be a member of the Cee Cee James Band. The musicianship and commitment to excellence comes out in the live performances, captivating the attention of the audiences at every venue."
Tim plays Les Pauls and Stratocasters as his primary instruments. Utilizing a Line 6 pedal board and a Wah Pedal through a Mesa Boogie Lonestar amplifier, his tone is uniquely defined.
